GB: In 10 years what would you like to be doing and if you weren’t into music what other career would you have pursued?
C-Lo: Hopefully I will be in another realm, even if its not music being successful in other forms and other ways…ding is great, but sometimes you have to know when to get in and get out…In 10 years I wont be that old, but I will be growing with it, maybe not in the club, but promotions of something…if I wasn’t in music I guess I would be a veterinarian or teach kids, I like to give back so it would definitely be something where I can deal with people
GB: Who are some of your influences and favorite artist?
C-Lo: Kid Capri, he’s a party DJ and I like to rock parties…I’m about making people dance and bringing people out, like him, so I would definitely have to say Capri…More than anything else I like Old School music, a lot of today’s music is just for the moment…I love music so I cant really say I have a favorite, but I do appreciate artist like Frankie Beverly & Maze, the Isley Brothers and Marvin Gaye.
GB: In this industry there always seems to be “beef” with other entertainers, is there anyone who you have a problem with or who has had a problem with you?
C-Lo: Yeah several times, well more or less I’ve had beef because I don’t understand why DJ’s undercut themselves when you look at other markets…its not really beefing its just disagreements on why we can’t be on the same level where we can compete with other cats in other markets
GB: So are there any famous last words for your people?
C-Lo: Watch out, Im coming!!! Don’t hate on me, get like me…lets have fun, lets do it!
